Dr. Shivani Panchal is a licensed podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon who graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2017. She then completed a rigorous three year residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center where she was trained in wound care, pediatric ailments and deformities, and elective, traumatic and reconstructive surgeries. During her third and last year of residency she was one of three chief residents directing a team of 18 total residents.
Dr. Panchal was born and raised in Connecticut and received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in Economics with a minor in Anthropology. While in school she continued volunteering at her community hospitals, going on medical mission trips and doing research at the University of Connecticut neonatal intensive care unit.
After receiving her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine, she is proud to continue to treat the community that she served during her residency in Brooklyn, New York with the support of her peers and mentors that have trained her.
During her free time, Dr. Panchal likes to practice yoga, dance, play the piano, and spend time with her friends and family.
Dr. Panchal is fluent in Hindi and Gujrati and speaks medical Spanish.
